14 Framingham High Artists Recognized as Scholastic Award Winners
Framingham High students Lauren Comerato and Joseph Vazquez each earned a gold award in the annual competition.
Annually, the Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards recognize the best in Massachusetts.
This year, 14 Framingham High students were named as award winners. National winners will be announced on March 16.
Framingham High students Lauren Comerato (teacher Katie Haley) and Joseph Vazquez (teacher Jeremy Flagg) received gold awards.

Silver Award winners for Framingham were:
- Lindsey Hart (teacher Dan Nicholson)
- Alex Greenberg (teacher Haley)
- Emily Stacey (teacher Nicholson)
- Liam Hansen (teacher Haley)
- Kyra Kabler (teacher Nicholson)
- Macy Lipkin (writing award under teacher Carra Fraker)
Honorable mention awards for the Flyers were:
- Cali Vaccarello (teacher Nicholson)
- Julia Ellis (teacher Josie Kealty)
- Maddy Fogarty (teacher Haley)
- Mike Walsh (teacher Haley)
- Sydney de Santis (teacher Kealty)
- Thuy Hoang (teacher Flagg)
