2 Framingham Firefighters Injured in 3-Alarm House Fire in Natick

Framingham Fire Department helped Natick Fire battle a 3-alarm house fire on Speen Street today, March 12, around 1 a.m.

During the fire, two Framingham firefighters were injured, according to the Framingham Fire Department.

One Framingham firefighter injured his knee and was transported to MetroWest Medical Center. The other firefighter suffered a leg injury. Neither injury is life threatening.

The fire caused heavy damage in the basement and first floor.

Firefighters had a hard time gaining entrance to the home to battle the fire due to clutter.

The couple, who live, in the home escaped without injuries, before firefighters arrived.

The fire is under investigation.
