UPDATED: 2 Medical Helicopters Requested For Major Ashland Crash

First responders requested two medical helicopters for a major crash at East Union and Cedar Street in Ashland, just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25.

Scanner indicated 5 people were in the vehicle, with 2 trapped inside.

The vehicle struck several poles, just before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.

An ambulance was seen going down Fay Road in Framingham, headed towards MetroWest Medical Center just about 2 a.m.

The intersection is closed.

More than 15 percent of Ashland is without power.
