• Framingham Apartment Fire Sends 1 To Hospital With Smoke Inhalation: City (patch.com) — A Sunday evening apartment fire on Irving Street in Framingham sent one resident to MetroWest Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation, but sprinklers and firefighters kept the blaze confined to a laundry room. City officials say the activated sprinkler head significantly limited damage before crews arrived, and no other injuries were reported, underscoring the importance of working fire protection systems in local buildings.
   

• Framingham Official, Former Rabbi, 3rd Man Nabbed In Child Sex Sting: Reports (patch.com) — State and Framingham police say a recent undercover sting led to the arrest of three men, including a Framingham town official, on serious child sex-related charges. The operation, targeting commercial sexual exploitation of children, resulted in all three being held on bail and scheduled for arraignment in Framingham District Court, while city and regional faith leaders responded to concerned residents.
