One woman is accused of punching the other and swinging a wine bottle at her. The other allegedly smashed a chair into her car.

FRAMINGHAM, MAβ€”Two Framingham women are facing charges after a fight that included smashing a wine bottle on the other's head and swinging a chair into a car occurred early Sunday morning.

Felicia Monteiro, 41, of Beaver Park Road, faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Jamee Ammons-Maddrey, 26, Interfaith Terrace, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, malicious destruction of property and simple assault and battery.

Around 1:02 a.m. on July 29, Officer Ryan Porter worked in the area of Beaver Park Road, where there was a report of a fight. When he arrived a woman, later identified as Jamee Ammons-Maddrey and a male that would be identified as Andrew Perry, were fighting over a patio chair next to a grey minivan. The van had multiple marks, scratches, and indents from Ammons-Maddrey striking it with the chair that Perry was trying to take from her.

While awaiting paramedics, Ammons-Maddrey told officers that she had been at a Beaver Pk Road address with Felicia Monteiro. Ammons-Maddrey said that they had been drinking and were discussing various matters when the subject of Monteiro's child came up.

Ammons-Maddrey felt that the son was not being properly cared for by Monteiro and she took issue with how he was being treated, said police. Ammons-Maddrey said at that point Monteiro became upset with her and they began to fight and that Ammons-Maddrey said that Monteiro then took a bottle and smashed it over her head.

Ammons-Maddrey said that at that time, Perry and Monteiro's daughter joined the fight and began to fight with Ammons-Maddrey. Ammons-Maddrey stated that they continued to punch her and eventually removed her from the home. At that time she was outside and was still very upset so she started to hit the car,

which she knew belonged to Monteiro. Ammons-Maddrey described the bottle she was hit with as a
larger style wine bottle.

Perry told police he was upstairs when he heard a commotion in the kitchen area and said he then went downstairs to find Monteiro and Ammons-Maddrey fighting. Perry said he was able to get Ammons-Maddrey from the home with the help of Angelique Monteiro and that he was downstairs when he heard that Ammons-Maddrey was outside damaging the vehicle.

At that time he went outside to confront her and police pulled up to the scene.

Monteiro told police that she was in the kitchen with Ammons-Maddrey when they began to argue over the children and Ammons-Maddrey became upset and punched Monteiro in the face. Monteiro said that they then fought, including Ammons-Maddrey falling on to a trash bag that had several glass bottles in it.

Monteiro described it as a "boxing match," and did not say that a bottle or any other weapon was involved, said police.

Police said on the center of the kitchen floor was a large amount of trash that appeared to have been swept into a pile with a broom nearby that had blood spots that had been smudged. There was a large amount of glass scattered throughout the kitchen, with some pieces of it in the next room.

Monteiro's daughter told police that she was upstairs with the children sleeping when she heard a scuffle downstairs and went to help. She said she saw Perry and Monteiro attempting to get Ammons-Maddrey out of the house through the rear door.

Both were arraigned on Monday and posted bail and are due back in court on Sept. 14, reports the MetroWest Daily News.
