Saturday, June 27, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. is the 3rd Annual Scoopapalooza on Natick Common.The event is a fundraiser for the Charles River Rotary Club, which includes Framingham members. For a small fee, individuals can enjoy all the ice cream and other frozen treats they can eat. There also will be fun activities for the kids.Last year about 2,000 people attended. Funds raised at the event will support Rotary Club's community work: including supporting scholarships for area young men and women pursuing training for skilled trades after high school; and SPARK Kindness, a local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting kind and empowered youth.Rain date is Sunday.
