Charges Pile Up For Driver With 7 Passengers Caught Doing 100 MPH On Highway In Tolland (patch.com) — A 21-year-old Framingham resident is facing eight charges after state police say he was clocked at 100 mph on I-84 in Tolland, Connecticut, with seven passengers, including two minors, in the vehicle. The case highlights serious out-of-state legal trouble for a local driver and the risks police say were posed to everyone in the car.
   

4. Fire destroys Sherborn MA garage. Why firefighters are being praised (metrowestdailynews.com) — Framingham firefighters were among more than a dozen departments that helped stop a massive Sherborn garage fire from spreading to a nearby duplex early Sunday. Crews battled the two-alarm blaze for over three hours, ultimately losing the garage and its contents but saving the attached housing and avoiding injuries. Investigators are still determining the cause.
