4th Annual Barbieri 5K and Fun Run Held Sunday

More than 250 students, parents, and staff participated in the event to support educational and cultural programs at the Framingham school.

Barbieri Elementary School held its fourth 5K and Fun Run on Sunday, Oct. 4, where more than 250 people came out to run.

The money raised will help support the numerous educational and cultural programs for our children and families, said organizer and Barbieri Elementary PTO member Gretchen DeMore.

Jeffrey Beling of Brookline won the race in 18:57 minutes.

Alexandra Grzywna of Brookline was the top female finisher in 21:45 minutes.
