5 Things You Need To Know in Framingham Today: March 3
The Framingham School Committee is scheduled to meet tonight. On the agenda is a discussion of making up snow days.

1. Framingham School Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the King Administration Building.
Among the items on the agenda is how to make up the 7 snow days the public school district has had this 2014-15 calendar year. The state requires students to attend school for 180 days.
2. Yesterday, the Christa McAuliffe Charter School in Framingham announced how it would make up its 8 snow days. Students will attend school on Good Friday in April, and the regional public charter school will extend its days in June to Friday June 26. The decision was made after receiving input from both parents and staff said the school’s executive director. Click here to read more.
3. Today is national pancake day. IHOP - the closest one is in Northborough - is offering guests a free short stack of pancakes, between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. This is the 10th year IHOP has done this promotion. Photo credit: IHOP
4. A winter storm tonight could make this season the snowiest of all time. MetroWest, including Framingham, could get another 2-3 inches of snow tonight into Wednesday morning.
