5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: August 6
Carnival returns to downtown tonight and Framingham Farmers' Market open this afternoon, plus free family music show at History Center.

1. The Framingham History Center will host its 4th free, family programming event of the summer this morning at 10:30 at Edgell Memorial Library. Stacey Peasley will get children moving to the beat of her guitar with musical games and a sing-a-long.
2. After the Framingham History Center program, stop by the Framingham Farmers’ Market at the Village Green. It is open from noon to 5:30 p.m.
3. The Fiesta Shows Carnival is back in town starting today. St. Stephen Church is hosting the carnival in downtown Framingham from today through Aug. 9 The carnival will feature rides, games, and food. It is open today from 6 to 11 p.m. The Carnival will be open Friday from 6 to 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday it opens at 2 p.m. There is an unlimited ride special today for $25.

4. The Skate Park Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 at the Framingham Parks & Recreation office at 475 Union Avenue.
