Framingham Selectmen and Framingham School Committee will both hold meetings tonight at 7.

1. Framingham Selectmen are scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Memorial Building.

On the agenda is the continued liquor license hearing for Railroad Six Sports Grill.

Framingham Police had recommended last month to suspend the alcohol license for 5 days but Framingham Selectmen wanted a tougher penalty and continued the public hearing until tonight.

2. Framingham School Committee is also meeting tonight at 7 at the King Elementary School.

On the agenda is a presentation on the school improvement plans for McCarthy and Potter Road elementary schools.

Also on the agenda is an action item about the school district purchasing 12 acres of land on Bethany Road for a potnetial new school.

3. Eversource will be installing gas mains on Main, School and Speen Street this week.

4. As the main Framingham Library is still closed due to an electrical explosion in October, the monthly book club meeting will be held in conference room 1 at the Memorial Building tonight at 7. The selection this month is Our Souls at Night by Kent Haruf.

The library has opened a pop-up branch at the former St Stephen’s School.
