Today is Friday the 13th. A few individuals consider 13 a lucky number but others fear the number, especially if it falls on a Friday. Those who fear the number 13 are said to have Triskaidekaphobia.
1. Tonight, the Framingham High football team travels to Milford for a game against the Hawks at 7. The Flyers are coming off a big win against Taunton last week. The team is 2-7, under head coach Gary Doherty.
2.The Combined Marian High/Keefe Technical football team will host Burke at 6:30 at Framingham State Universityβs Maple Street Field.

3. McCarthy Elementary School will hold its popular Bingo for Books tonight from 6:30 to 8. It is fun family night and everyone leaves with books. BINGO cards are $1. Other Framingham families are welcome to attend.
4. Governor Charlie Baker appointed a new trustee to Mass Bay Community College. The College, with a main campus in Wellesley, and a satellite campus in Framingham, is having an open house on Saturday.

5. Framingham State University is hosting an a cappella event on campus at the Arts Center at 8 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door.
