5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: July 1
Bus stop time change for Framingham's extended school year program at Barbieri Elementary and ideas for things to do with the kids today.

1. Parents of students who will be participating in Framingham’s extended school year program at Barbieri Elementary please be advised to be at the bus stop today by 7:05 a.m. not the time previously given.
Due to an unexpected increase in enrollment and transportation needs, additional buses have been added for the summer. Therefore times and bus numbers have been adjusted, from what you may have been told.
Students will be provided with new bus information on the first day of summer school.

2. The main Framingham Library will host its Stories & Songs program today from 1:15 to 2 p.m. for children age 2-5.
3. Rain is expected all day today, so consider a trip to Danforth Art today, The Framingham museum will be open from noon to 5 p.m. today. Check out the Picture This! exhibit. There is a free artist talk, for members, and included with admission at 12:30 p.m.

4. Be creative! Stop by Whimsy arts & crafts studio with the kids. The studio is open today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
5. Today is National U.S. Postage Stamp Day.
Family Road Trip Suggestion: Consider taking the family to the Spellman Museum of Stamps & Postal History on the Regis College campus in Weston. During July and August, the museum is open Thursdays to Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. The Museum will be open on July 4. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $3 for children ages 5 to 16. (The museum is closed today, Wednesday, July 1)
The museum’s special exhibits for the summer include “Old Glory on U.S. Stamps,” “Mail Goes to War,” “A History of the Boston Post Road,” and “Bicycles on Stamps.”
The Museum offers activities for children, and a complimentary packet of stamps and tips on how to start a stamp collection.
