5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: June 1
No school for kindergarteners, MIAA playoff lacrosse game for Lady Flyers, inight, and position available on Framingham Board of Health.
1. Just a reminder for parents, there is no school for Framingham Public School kindergarten students today, June 1. The reason why is for incoming kindergartner orientation at the town’s nine elementary schools.
2. Weather permitting, the Framingham High girls lacrosse team will host Newton South High School for an opening round game in the MIAA Division 1 East tournament today.
The Flyers, seeded #5 have a record of 14-6. The game is scheduled to start at 3:45 p.m. Lacrosse games are played in the rain, but not in thunder and lightning conditions.

3. Grade 2-8 students in the SAGE program, in the Framingham Public Schools, will present their projects tonight at Walsh Middle School at 6 p.m. as part of the district’s annual iNight.
4. Yesterday, a woman was struck by a van at Dennison Crossing. She was transported by ambulance to MetroWest Medical Center, according to the Framingham Fire Department. her condition is unknown at this time.
