5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: June 19
Framingham's summer Concerts on the Common kicks off tonight on the Village Green at 6:30.

1. The Town of Framingham’s summer concert series kicks off tonight with a performance by Playing Dead, a Grateful Dead tribute band. Music starts at 6:30 and continues for two hours. Bring a banket or a chair. Hope to see you there.

2. Brophy Elementary School will hold its annual Family Fun night starting at 6 tonight. The event features a dunk tank, a bounce house, face painting and more. Food can be purchased including cotton candy and snow cones. The event supports the elementary school’s class of 2016.

3. Diosa Dance Yoga Health in Framingham is celebrating its 3rd anniversary. And tonight, the Pleasant Street Studio will hold a fundraising show, featuring dance, pole dance, burlesque and belly dancing to benefit Voices Against Violence, a non-profit also based in Framingham. Tickets can be purchased at the studio ahead of time or at the door for $15 - 100% of proceeds will benefit Voices against Violence. The show is from 7 to 9 p.m.

5. Two traffic alerts to know about today:
- A section of Main Street, between Walnut Street and Union Avenue, in Framingham will be closed for construction starting now through June 26. Construction work will be performed during daytime hours, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. A detour will be in place and police details on site to facilitate traffic.
- The Dennison Crossing intersection in downtown Framingham will be closed this weekend for railroad track replacement. Detours will be in effect this weekend starting Friday night at about 11 p.m. until Monday morning at 6 a.m. at the intersections of Bishop Street/Waverly Street/Howard Street/Bishop Street.
