There is a meet & greet with outgoing Chelmsford Superintendent Frank Tiano tonight from 6 to 7 at king Elementary School
Afterwards, the Framingham School Committee will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. to interview the Tiano and likely vote to decide whether to approve or reject Framingham Superintendent of Schools Stacy Scott’s second choice this year to replace Mark Prince, who stayed only one year with the district.

2. While Friday was the last day of school in Framingham, there is no summer vacation from road construction.

3. The Framingham School Committee recently recognized 10 Framingham students, in grades 3-8, who had the highest scores in the WordMasters competition. Click here to read their names.
4. Framingham’s trio of beaches will be open today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Beach passes are required for access. They can be purchased on site or at the Parks & Recreation office.
5. The Claflin Hill Youth Symphonies performed Sunday at the 50th anniversary celebration of Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon. Framingham musicians who performed yesterday included Tristan Elkins and Emily Tiger (pictured).
