1. Tonight is the annual Salute to Framingham. If you don’t have a ticket, you are out of luck, as it is sold out.
Honorees this year are:
- Lee Mencoboni, a lifelong Framingham resident and owner of La Cantina Italiana Restaurant, has been helping the youth of Framingham by addressing the problem of childhood hunger.
- Bob Merusi, the former Director of the Framingham Parks and Recreation Department. His vision, passion, and perseverance have vastly improved the quality of life for the youth of Framingham.
The event is a fundraiser for the Framingham Public Schools. All proceeds from the Salute to Framingham benefit the Framingham High School Foundation which supports the extracurricular activities, arts, and athletics at Framingham High.

2. Plan ahead: Framingham Department of Public Works is hosting a blood drive on March 31. The public can attend and donate blood. Click here for more details.
3. The public is invited to a lecture at the main Framingham Library tonight titled What Happens After We Die?

Dr. Rifat Sonsino, Rabbi Emeritus, and Adjunct Professor of Theology at Boston College will discuss different philosophical scenarios outlined in our Western culture.
The free 7 p.m. lecture is a collaboration of Framingham State University and Framingham Public Library. Refreshments will be served.
