5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: March 31
Framingham DPW is hosting a blood drive, Framingham TWPTO hosting a candidates forum and today deadline to register for 5th Annual Egg Hunt.

1. Framingham Department of Public Works is hosting a blood drive today at DPW headquarters, 100 Western Avenue from 1 to 4 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and donate.
2. Today is the deadline to register for the Framingham Parks & Recreation’s 5th Annual Egg hunt on Saturday, April 4. The event, designed for ages 3-12, is scheduled for Saturday, April 4 at 9:30 a.m. at Cushing Memorial Park. Pre-registration is required at $5 per person. Last year, more than 150 boys and girls searched for 2,000 colored eggs and 6 special “golden” eggs. Click here for more details.
3. Tonight, the Framingham Town-wide PTO is holding a forum for the Framingham School Committee and Selectmen candidates at Framingham High School from 7 to 9 p.m. The public may attend.
Tomorrow afternoon, the Framingham Teachers Association will hold a forum for the three School Committee candidates at Walsh Middle School.
The Town of Framingham election is a week from today - April 7.
4. Ameresco, Inc., an energy efficiency and renewable energy company, with its world-wide headquarters in Framingham announced Monday, March 30, its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Andrew B. Spence will retire at the end of the current fiscal year, Dec. 31. As part of this transition, Ameresco announced John R. Granara has been named to succeed Spence as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 1. Click here to read more.
