5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: May 19

Massachusetts Secretary of Housing and Economic Development in Framingham today and Night 10 of Framingham Town Meeting.

The project, which will focus on bringing a new set of development opportunities to an area of town long overdue for coordinated, up-to-date planning and zoning, will be led by Framingham’s Community and Economic Development Division and supported by MAPC’s District Local Technical Assistance program, a state fund that helps promote regional collaboration, economic development, better land use/zoning and environmental protection.

4. Framingham Town Wide PTO (TWPTO) is presenting a discussion on keeping children safe and secure online tonight at 7 at Hemenway Elementary School

The presentation is a A Project Safe Childhood presentation and will be led by Assistant U.S. Attorney Eve Stacey and FBI Special Agent Eric Slaton. The duo will share tips and experiences for Keeping Children Safe and Secure Online. The program is for parents of children in grades K-12. All are welcome to attend the free 2-hour program.

5. The Marian Mustangs will battle Keefe Tech on the diamond at 3:30 p.m. today weather permitting. The baseball game takes place at Longs Playground.
