5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: May 22
Tonight Marian High seniors will graduate and Framingham High seniors will attend their prom.

1. In November 2014, voters approved an earned sick time law, that entitles employees in Massachusetts to earn and use sick time according to certain conditions. Employees who work for employers having 11 or more employees can earn and use up to 40 hours of paid sick time per calendar year, while employees working for smaller employers can earn and use up to 40 hours of unpaid sick time per calendar year. The law is set to go into effect on July 1.
2. Tonight is graduation for the class of 2015 at Marian High School. It starts at 7. Framingham Patch will have a photographer at the event.

3. Framingham High seniors will be attending their prom tonight in Boston.

4. FLYERS in action: There are no games today but several teams were in action yesterday and on Wednesday.
- The girls lacrosse team, lead by senior Kristen Wilder, defeated the Rockets of Reading High.
- The boys lacrosse team lost to the Redhawks of Natick.

5. The main Framingham Library will hold an after-hours, free screening of the documentary Peaceable Kingdom, at 6 p.m. The 2-hour film is recommended for individuals age 13 or older to due some graphic content.
Peaceable Kingdom follows the transformation of farmers as they reexamine their relationship to animals, discovering what the factory farming industry and its many supporters won’t tell their consumers.
Afterwards there will be a talk by Maple Farm Sanctuary in Mendon, MA, featured in the film.
Vegan food donated by Green Leaf in Framingham will be served.
