5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: May 29
Framingham middle school spelling bee tonight, big volleyball win for the Flyers, and Entrain performance at Amazing Things Arts Center.

1. Down two sets, the Framingham High boys volleyball team won the next three sets last night against the Redhawks of Natick to earn a spot in the MIAA Division 1 Central quarterfinals on June 3.
2. The Christa McAuliffe Charter School will be looking to defend its title at the 2nd Annual Framingham Middle School Spelling Bee tonight. The Homework Center will host the 2nd Annual Bee at the main Framingham Library at 7. Each of the town’s middle schools were invited submit up to 3 teams of 3 spellers each. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend.

4. The Framingham High boys tennis team will host Dedham at 3:45 p.m. They are the only Flyers plying at home today.
5. Plan ahead: Plymouth Church in Framingham will hold a pancake breakfast and a children’s festival Saturday morning will all proceeds benefiting the Africa Exchange Project.
