5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: November 18

1. Tonight is 23rd Annual Framingham Education Foundation Spelling Bee. The event starts at 7 p.m. at Cameron Middle School. Doors open at 6:45. The event, which is a fundraiser, features adult spellers on teams of three.

2. Stapleton Elementary PTO is scheduled to meet tonight at 7. There is a Stapleton School Council meet scheduled for 6, before the meeting.

4. The Christa McAuliffe Charter School Board of Trustees are scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. today.

On the agenda is the middle school’s bullying policy, update on PARCC results, and discussion on staff retention.

5. Framingham Conservation Commission is scheduled to meet at 7 in the Memorial Building.

On the agenda is a new parking lot for the World Revival Church on Loring Drive and aquatic vegetation management at Lake Waushakum, Little Farm Pond and Big Farm Pond.
