5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: November 3
No school today for Framingham Public School students and where motorists will encounter a significant delay today due to road work.

1. Today is election day in 53 cities and towns in Massachusetts today, but NOT in Framingham. Voters in town will go to the polls next November, as there will be a presidential election.
2. There is no school for Framingham Public School students today, as the district will hold a professional development day for teachers and staff.

4. Framingham Selectmen are scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Memorial Building. On the agenda is a vote on fees for funerals for Veterans at Cushing Chapel and a discussion to make the day after Thanksgiving a holiday for municipal employees.
5. The Framingham main library is still closed, due to an electrical explosion in October. The McAuliffe branch library is now open 7 days a week. Several events have been cancelled, others have moved to new venues, due to the main library closed. Click here for updates.
