UPDATED: 5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: November 5
Flyers boys soccer and Mustangs volleyball in post-season tournaments. Plus Framingham High sports registration night.
1. The Framingham High boys soccer team will compete in opening round action of the MIAA Division1 North tournament this afternoon. The Flyers, with a record of 8-2-7, are seeded #9 and will travel to play #8-seeded Lincoln-Sudbury High at 2 p.m. The winner faces the winner of the game between East Boston and Everett in the quarterfinals. East Boston is seeded #1.
2. The Marian High Schoolβs girls volleyball team will host a MIAA Division 3 Central post-season tournament match tonight. The Mustangs, with a record of 15-5, and seeded #7, will battle Worcester Tech, a #10 seed, at 7.
3. Framingham High students interested in playing a winter or spring sport are invited to attend a registration event tonight from 6 to 8 in the schoolβs library. Click here for more details and what to bring to register.

Tonightβs presentation The Sonnet: Worlds Into Words with Helen Heineman scheduled for the Costin room will now take place in the Blumer Room in The Memorial Building at 7. The event is free and open to the public.
