5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: October 20
Main Framingham Library will be closed on Tuesday. Town of Framingham begins a Special Town Meeting tonight at the Memorial Building.

1. The main Framingham Library is still closed, after the electrical explosion on Saturday morning. Museum passes may be picked up at the McAuliffe branch library in Saxonville and book may be returned to that branch also.
2. Framingham will begin a Special Town Meeting tonight at 7;30 p.m. in Nevins Hall in the Memorial Building.
Framingham Patch will NOT be live blogging these sessions of Town Meeting. Town Meeting is expected to continue Wednesday and Thursday of this week and into next week.

3. Massachusetts Lt. Governor Karyn Polito will be in town this afternoon. She will meet with MassDOT and leaders from Ameresco about the new solar panels along the Massachusetts Turnpike. Patch will have a report afterwards.

4. FLYERS in action:
- Girls soccer will host Braintree at 3:45 p.m. at the high school
- Girls volleyball will host Braintree at 3:45 p.m. at the high school
- Framingham swim & dive team will host the Mustangs of Norwood at Keefe Technicalβs pool at 5 p.m.
