5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: October 28

Framingham High will hold a Halloween concert tonight at 7 featuring the band, madrigals, and show choir.

1. Framingham High will hold a Halloween concert tonight at 7 featuring the band, madrigals, and show choir. The public is invited.

Prior to the concert there is a Halloween festival beginning at 5:30 p.m. that features games, face painting, activities and a costume contest. There is a fee for the activities. The concert is free but there is a suggested donation of $5.

2. Framingham Town Meeting resume tonight for night 4 of Special Town Meeting. The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. or when a quorum is reached.

3. The main Framingham Library is still closed, following an β€œelectrical explosion” earlier this month. The McAuliffe Library is open. Materials should be returned there and requests may be picked up there.

4. McCarthy Elementary School will hold its annual Monster Mash event at 6:30 tonight.

5. Need a pumpkin? For the second year, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Framingham is hosting a pumpkin patch. The Patch is open Mondays through Fridays from 3 to 7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
