1. Jack’s Abby Beer Hall will be closed until its Wednesday, Oct. 7. The new restaurant, retail store had a soft opening last week but needs to make changes due to the large crowds.
“This has been a CRAZY week! We have been completely blown away by the amount of friends who have come to the Beer Hall over the few days! There are some changes we need to make to improve the experience, but everyone has been so patient and understanding. We really can’t convey how much that means to us In order to improve and make some necessary changes we will be CLOSED TOMORROW, SUNDAY OCTOBER 4th through TUESDAY OCTOBER 6th. We’ll open again Wednesday the 7th and our Grand Opening is still on schedule for Thursday the 8,” wrote the business on its Facebook page over the weekend.
2. Residents and business owners can learn more about the Town of Framingham’s Union Avenue Project tonight at 7 at the Memorial Building in the Blumer Community Room. Public meeting will explain the proposed water, sewer and storm drain improvement plans anticipated for Spring, 2016.
