'80s Pop Star Howard Jones to Perform at Violet Jam

‘Synth-pop sensation Howard Jones will perform at The Verve on Route 9 on Friday, March 20.

In the early 80s, Jones hit the American music scene with a synthesized pop sound that helped to define that genre of music.

He paved the way for current electronic dance music DJs and producers by doing live performances using electronic technology way before the time of the sophisticated software used by today’s artists.

His hit singles include Revolution Of The Heart, What Is Love and chart toppers like Things Can Only Get Better and No One Is To Blame.

Concert goers will not only enjoy those popular tracks, but also songs from his latest album, Ordinary Heroes.
