AAA: Gas Prices Up 6 Cents
A year ago gas prices in Massachusetts were 92 cents higher, averaging $3.64 a gallon

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are up six cents from last week, according to AAA Northeast, which has an office in Framingham on Route 9.
AAA’s June 15 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.72 per gallon, up six cents from last week.
Prices locally are 9 cents higher than a month ago.

The current price is 8 cents less than the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.80.
A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 92 cents higher at $3.64.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 43 cents, from a low of $2.52 to a high of $2.95. AAA advises motorists to shop around for the best prices in their area, and to make sure they and their passengers buckle up — every trip, every time.
