AG's Office Holding First-Ever Community Action Hours in Arabic
Attorney General Maura Healey's office has held community action hours in Framingham.

Building on her commitment to make the resources of her office more accessible to diverse communities across the state, Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey announced her office will be holding its first Community Action Hours event in Arabic on Thursday.
Staff from Healeyβs office will answer questions in Arabic on a variety of issues including housing, health care and civil rights and will provide information sessions on workersβ rights at the New American Center in Lynn Thursday morning.
The Community Action Hours is a new initiative under the AGβs Community Engagement Division that brings the resources of the Attorney Generalβs Office directly into communities at times that are convenient for working people and their families.

βThis is the peopleβs law firm and itβs important that people from different backgrounds across Massachusetts are able to connect with our office and access information,β said Healey, in a press release.
βNo matter what language you speak, our message is clear: weβre here to help,β said Healey.

Next week, the AGβs Office will hold Community Action Hours in Spanish at the Chelsea Collaborative.
The Office held action hours in Spanish at Iglesia de Dios de la Profecia in Lawrence in September. The AGβs Office has held Community Action Hours in Framingham, Roxbury, Dorchester, Lawrence and Brockton and has others scheduled in New Bedford and other Boston neighborhoods.
Community organizations can also request that the AGβs Office participate in their community events through the officeβs Community Engagement Divisionβs website
