Angry Ham Hosting America's First Wounded Warrior Band Friday Night

Vetted, the band, hopes to "empower disabled and combat wounded Veterans through music." They will perform Nov. 13. in Framingham.

Vetted: America’s First Wounded Warrior Band will take the stage tonight, Nov. 13, at Angry Ham’s Garage in Framingham.

Vetted is the first nationally recognized, all-wounded warrior band.

Started in 2009 by wounded Veteran Paul Delacerda, a drummer, the band is comprised of all combat wounded warriors from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Other members of the band include Shannon Book, on vocals, James Greenlee on guitar and Jared Jones on bass guitar.

The band typically performs at military bases, veteran’s functions, and various festivals, but will perform tonight in Framingham a set at 11:30 p.m.

The band’s lead singer perform the National Anthem at the Boston Bruins game last night, Nov. 12.
