Author Day at Barbieri Elementary
Authors and illustrators visited the Framingham elementary school and held hands-on workshops for students.
Barbieri Elementary students learned first-hand what it is like to be a writer and illustrator at the school’s annual author day organized by educator Margaret Fawley, and parents Kim Mills and Jeanne Hampton.
Funded by the Barbieri Elementary School’s PTO, students heard from authors and illustrators and participated in hands-on workshops on Friday, May 1.
“We are grateful to the PTO and to all of the parent volunteers who helped to make this event a success,” said Fawley.
