Blankets and Throws Wanted For Holiday Drive
Framingham Police are helping a social service agency collect blankets for individuals in need this holiday season. Deadline is Dec. 14.
Framingham Police have teamed with the Advocates Inc. to collect blanket for those in need this holiday season.
New blankets and small and medium sized throws can be dropped off at the main Framingham Police Station 24 hours a day through Dec. 14.
There is a bin in the lobby. As of last week, more than 30 blankets had already been donated.

Besides donating throws, individuals can also donated to a fund, which will be used to purchase blankets, via the Advocates Inc.
- $10 Donation – Provides a warm winter blanket to one individual
- $25 Donation – Provides a warm winter blanket and a gift card to one individual
- $50 Donation – Provides gifts for two individuals
- $75 Donation – Provides gifts for three individuals
- $100 Donation – Provides gifts for a small group home
- $250 Donation – Provides gifts for an entire family or larger group home
$6,000 of a $10,000 goal had already been raised as of Thanksgiving.
