Bridgewater Ends Framingham State Softball Team's Season
The Rams lost 3-2 in the Conference tournament on Thursday. The Framingham State softball team ends season with record of 13-20.

The sixth seed Framingham State University softball team was defeated 3-2 Thursday afternoon by the third seed Bridgewater State University Bears in an opening round game of the 2015 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Championship Tournament.
The Rams are eliminated from the tournament with the loss and see their season come to a close at 13-20.
The Bears improve to 20-13 on the season and advance to face second seeded MCLA tomorrow in North Adams.

The Rams struck first in the top of the fifth of a scoreless game. Junior Kourtney Kacian walked and single from sophomore Marissa Flynn gave the runners on first and second with no outs.
A fielder’s choice and a ground out gave the Rams runners on second and third with two outs for sophomore Tiffanie Marsh.

Marsh, the 2015 MASCAC Softball Player of the Year, delivered a single to left scoring two runs and giving the Rams a 2-0 lead.
The Rams lead stood until the bottom of the sixth when the Bears came from behind with three runs to secure the victory.
Junior Natasha Arseneau took the loss for the Rams going six innings and allowing three unearned runs on five hits with two walks and four strikeouts.
Kelly McCarthy picked up the victory in relief for the Bears going two scoreless innings and allowing just one hit with a walk and a strikeout.
