“Based on YOUR feedback as well as that from our faculty and staff, it is clear that holding school over April break will be disruptive at best and extremely challenging to deal with coverage needs within the school,” wrote Charter School Executive Director Kristin Harrison in an email to parents. “At this time, we will plan to maintain April break as a vacation.”

The Charter school, based in Framingham, has students from several MetroWest communities, but the majority from Framingham.

The Charter School, while a public school with no tuition, does not have a union for teachers and is not overseen by a School Committee. It does have a board of directors.
