Christians End Marian's Season

The Marian High girls volleyball team finish the season with a record of 16-6, after losing in the MIAA Division 3 Central Tournament.

Marian High’s girls volleyball season came to an end Monday night in the quarterfinals of the MIAA Central tournament.

The Mustangs lost to #2 seeded Whittinsville Christian School 3-0.

The Mustangs, seeded #7 in the tournament, had shut out Worcester Tech, seeded #10 to advance to the quarterfinal match. The Christians had defeated the Broncos of Keefe Technical in the opening round to move to Monday’s match.

#1- seeded team from Tri-County lost to #8 Hopedale in the quarterfinals of the Division 3 tournament.

The Mustangs were 15-5 in the regular season, and 16-6 overall.
