- Since Wednesday, December 1, 234 residents have tested positive, 108 more have recovered, and the City has Learned of One New Fatality Related to COVID-19: The number of people in the City who have tested positive for COVID-19 is 9,846. With 9,239 recovered and 255 fatalities, Framingham currently has 310 active cases. The Framingham Health Department contacts individuals who test positive and the people who were potentially exposed to inform and counsel them on the next steps.

- Update on the Vaccine Equity Initiative in Framingham: Since Wednesday, March 24, 7,104 vaccines – first, second, and booster doses - (Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson) have been administered under the Equity Initiative. Framingham continues to exceed many of the state benchmarks on COVID-19 vaccinations. To request a home visit, please call the City's Public Health Nursing Office at (508) 532-5667. - Omicron Variant has been Detected in Massachusetts: The Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced over the weekend that the State confirmed its first case of the Omicron COVID-19 variant. Help stop the spread of COVID-19 by:
- Get vaccinated if you haven't and get a booster if you've been fully vaccinated
- Staying home and getting tested if you are sick
- Washing your hands frequently with hot soapy water or using alcohol-based hand sanitizer
- Following masking requirements
- Notifying your close contacts if you test positive for COVID-19 so that they can take the appropriate next steps
