Detours on Temple and Auburn Streets Friday
Motorists take note that detours on both Framingham roads will be during the early morning commute and last through the day on August 7.
Framingham Department of Public Works issued a traffic alert for both Temple and Auburn streets for Friday, August 7.
Temple Street:
Final paving of the roadway will require a detour to be in place beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday on Temple Street between Pleasant Street and Route 9 for southbound traffic only. Northbound traffic off of Route 9 will flow as usual. Please expect delays.
Auburn Street:
Roadway reclamation work will begin on Friday starting at 7 a.m. near the intersection of Auburn Street and Edgell Road. It is anticipated that the work will be beyond the business area prior to the start of business. Auburn Street will be open to local traffic only. This work is expected to continue late into the day.
Emergency vehicles will have full access at all times to both streets
Police details will be onsite to facilitate safe traffic flow at both sites.
