EDITOR'S PICKS: 5 Things To Do Today, March 21

35th Annual Pancake Breakfast, 42nd Annual Heritage Craft Fair, and The Dennisons: A Family Ahead of Their Time event all featured.

Below are my editor’s picks for things to do today, Saturday, March 21

  1. Historic View of the Dennison Family: The Framingham History Center will present The Dennisons: A Family Ahead of Their Time today at 2 p.m. at historic Village Hall. Local storyteller Libby Franck will portray Kate Ware Smith - a Framingham wife, mother and social worker who became a part of the Dennison family. Tickets are $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Kate will provide a glimpse into this remarkable family of reformers from Henry with his progressive economic and social activities to the women who were highly educated and devoted to local and national reform agendas.   2. 42nd Annual Heritage Craft Fair: The Heritage Chorale will hold its annual craft fair at Keefe Technical School from 10 a/m/ to 4 p.m. The fair features more than 100 crafters. Admission fee for entrance, but free parking.
  3. 35th Annual Pancake Breakfast: Scout Troop 12’ will hold its annual breakfast at Plymouth Church today from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and children age 10 and younger.
  4. Book Sale: the Friends of the Framingham Library will hold its monthly book sale at the main Framingham Library today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Members may shop starting at 9;30 a.m.
  5. Magic Show: Amazing Things Arts Center will host a children’s magic show today at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 for members and $10 for non members.
