EDITOR'S PICKS: 5 Things To Do Today - May 30

Nature walk at 10 a.m., children's festival at Plymouth Church, Relay for Life this weekend, and new store opening at Natick Mall.

Below are my picks of things to do today, May 30 in Framingham and MetroWest:

1. CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL: Plymouth Church in Framingham is hosting a pancake breakfast and a children’s festival today to benefit its Africa Exchange Project. Pancakes begin serving at 8 a.m. and the children’s festival is from 9 a.m. to noon. Click here for more details.

2. RELAY FOR LIFE: Dozens of teams will be participating in the American Cancer Society’s annual Relay for Life at Natick High School this weekend. The event starts at noon today and continues all night into Sunday.

3. RETAIL THERAPY: Plammie Activewear will open its newest store in Massachusetts today at the Natick Mall. The retail store offers the hottest sportswear brands for women from Brazil and Colombia. The fitness gear is bright colored and made for an active lifestyle. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. today. There will be giveaways and promotions and a mini Samba class led by SambaViva!

4. 4-H ANIMALS: A 4-H club is bringing a kids program with animals to the main Framingham Library from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Children can see rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys and even a peacock.

5. TAKE A HIKE: The Framingham Conservation Commission is hosting a narrated nature walk today at 10 a.m. at the Macomber Woods Conservation. Click here for more details.
