Firefighters Put Out Attic Blaze

 personnel put out a fire that engulfed the living room and attic of 480 Edgell Rd. Sunday night. 

Flames spread from the home's fireplace, Deputy Fire Chief  said.

Fire crews responded to the call around 9:15 p.m., according to initial scanner reports. 

"The fire spread up to the attic area and burned the attic out. We opened the [roof] right above where the fire was so that it didn't spread," Garvey said. 

The home's owners were not injured in the fire, Garvey said.
