Former Congressional Candidate Indicted For Assault on a Child

The Middlesex District Attorney's Office announced the indictment against the 71-year-old Framingham man and his wife, 72.

A former congressional candidate was indicted by a grand jury this week for three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a child.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s office said indicted were handed down to Thomas Tierney, 71 of Framingham and his wife Joanne, 72, of Framingham.

Both were charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a child (3 counts) and endangerment of a child.
