Framingham Community Connections Coalition Launches New Website

Framingham Community Connections Coalition launched a new website on Wednesday, May 27. The website is located at www.framcoal.org.

The Coalition is neighborhood-based and resident-driven, and builds upon the existing strengths of families and the community, facilitates partnerships with supportive resources and services for the purposes of strengthening families, eliminating child abuse and neglect, and building a healthier community.

The Coalition’s goal is to build a comprehensive continuum of family support that strengthens Framingham families, builds communities, and prevents child abuse and neglect.

The website is a critical communications tool for interacting with the community and sharing information about local resources, news, youth opportunities and information about community events, according to a press release issued yesterday.

“Today’s launch represents an important milestone for Framingham Community Connections Coalition; the new website will provide a connection between the community, community leaders, events, information and vital resources with just a few key strokes. Our goal is to continue to build a comprehensive continuum of family support, and this is just another step in the right direction in building on the existing strength of the community,” said Executive Director Bob Davis.

“We invite members of the community to explore the site, provide us with your feedback and to share milestones events and celebrations with us, stated the press release.

We encourage our community partners to share information about programs, resources and opportunities with us so that they may be added to the site, stated the press release.

We will continue to work to enhance the site and add features, stated the press release.

While designing the site, the Coalition took into consideration the experience of each of our users.

The new www.framcoal.org website was created with a responsive design to provide users with the same experience on all devices.

Framingham Coalition collaborated with Capital Strategic Solutions on the layout and design of the website, and
has future plans to continue to enhance communications through the implementation of social media.
