Framingham Superintendent of Schools informed parents of his decision in a letter today, March 27.

Framingham Superintendent of Schools Stacy Scott said he will conduct an internal search to replace Dunning Elementary School Principal Kim Taylor.

Taylor will be the new principal at King Elementary School.

Scott, in a letter to parents today, March 27, thanks them for participating in his “listening tours” and submitting more than 150 comments.

“The vast majority of responses indicated a need to continue the work at Dunning with someone who is preferably familiar with the Dunning community or at least knowledgeable with the Framingham Public School system,” wrote Scott. ”I have reflected on these comments and I have decided to post the Dunning Principal opening for internal hire.”

Scott told parents the internal posting will close on April 2.
