Framingham DPW To Recycle Old Trash Barrels

The Town of Framingham is moving to automated curbside trash collection starting July 6.

New trash barrels with wheels are being delivered to Framingham residents this month.

PLEASE do not use the new barrels until the week of July 6.

The new, automated collection vehicles will not be available until this time and manual lifting of the new barrels can be prohibitive.

Framingham DPW will recycle old barrels the week of July 13-17.

Just leave the empty trash barrel by the curb the day you have trash collection. Please place it about 3 feet from the new trash cart.

Homeowners who have trash collection on Thursdays, Fridays, Mondays and Tuesday have had their new trash cart barrels delivered to them.

Those who have trash collection on Wednesday, should be receiving their new 96-gallon grey trash cart this week or next week.
