UPDATED: Framingham Fire Responding to Ranch Fire on Cornell Road

UPDATE: One person was in the house when firefighters arrived. Firefighters rescued the individual, who was trapped inside and the person was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Condition is unknown at this time.

Framingham Fire department is on the scene of a fire at 6 Cornell Road.

The fire is in a ranch home. Cornell Road is located off Frost Street.

Initial scanner reports indicated two individuals were seriously injured and another scanner report had Framingham Fire rescuing an individual trapped inside the house.

Reports that residents, who live on Cornell Road, saw smoke coming from the home and called 9-1-1.

State Fire Marshal has been called to the scene, as well as Massachusetts State Police.

Dunning Elementary School is located on Frost, and starts its school day after 9 a.m. Parents are asked to take note that Cornell is closed.
