Earlier, Framingham Patch was told by sources, both victims had gunshot wounds.

There were multiple, but unconfirmed reports, it was a murder suicide. Lt. Cronin could not confirm or deny those reports.

Framingham Police have been called to the apartment multiple times for reports of domestic violence, according to neighbors.

Marie Bonilla told NECN her daughter, Michelle Batista, 30, is the victim of a murder, shot by her longtime boyfriend, who she said then allegedly turned the gun on himself inside their apartment.

“We talk every day,” said Marie Bonilla, the mother of the woman killed, according to NECN. “She didn’t answer her phone, and I kept calling, and I said to my work, ‘something’s not right.”

The matter is under investigation by the Framingham Police, Massachusetts State Police CPAC, the Medical Examiner’s Office and the Middlesex County DA’s office.

Framingham Police will make no more statements and the DA’s office will release any new information.
