Framingham History Comes To Life at Cemetery Saturday
The event is at 4 p.m. at the Old Burying Grounds on Main Street. Tickets are still available.

The Framingham History Center Presents Voices from the Old Burying Ground on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 4 p.m.
A wonderful tradition has sprung from the Main Street Burying Ground along with the spirits of Framinghamβs most storied forebears.

Stroll among the oldest graves in town and hear from the likes of Salem witch trial refugee Sarah Clayes, former slave Peter Salem, Revolutionary War legend Jonathan Maynard, first minister Reverend Swift and poor Mrs. Twitchell. Newcomers include the cantankerous Joseph Buckminster, noted merchant and hotelier Abner Wheeler and Betsy Bennett one of the early straw bonnet entrepreneurs who sold her wares in Mr. Wheelerβs store.
Tickets are $5 per person, and $15 for a family.The event is for ages 8 and older. Wear comfortable shoes, as their is hilly terrain.
