Framingham Hosting Construction Project Meetings for Residents, Businesses

Meetings schedule for October 5 for a Union Avenue project and October 7 for a Walnut Street waste water pump station project.

The Town of Framingham’s Department of Public Works has scheduled two neighborhood meetings during the month of October to provide an informal forum for residents and business owners to meet with DPW staff, construction project managers and consultants that are responsible for the work in their area.

Residents can review the anticipated construction project boards, speak with staff and understand the important public infrastructure and environmental health benefits to their neighborhoods.

  • Union Avenue Project: Monday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Memorial Building in the Blumer Community Room. Public meeting will explain the proposed water, sewer and storm drain improvement plans anticipated for Spring, 2016.
  • Walnut Street Project: Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Memorial Building in the Ablondi Room. Public meeting to explain proposed utility improvement plans for a new wastewater pump station on Walnut Street.
