The main Framingham Library is expected to re-open Tuesday morning, after it closed early on Monday due to a ”major plumbing” problem.
The main Framingham Library closed at 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3 and the teen cupcake competition had to be cancelled due to a major plumbing blockage.
Library Trustee Robert Dodd told Framingham Patch he spoke to the Library Director and the main library is expected to open Tuesday morning.

The boiler room, elevator, tech services, and rest rooms on the first floor were impacted, said Dodd.
A large area of ceilings needed to be removed and discarded, said Dodd.
